Aiko will represent Czechia at Eurovision 2024

In an incredible victory, Aiko has emerged as the winner of ESCZ 2024, having the opportunity to represent Czechia at the Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö next May. Aiko’s empowering anthem, “Pedestal,” struck a chord with voters during a week-long voting process.

The culmination of the voting process, following the ESCZ 2024 show, saw Aiko as the clear victor, with fellow contender Elly securing the runner-up spot and the band Mydy claiming third place. Tom Sean and Lenny also made notable standings in the rankings, creating an intense and dynamic competition.

Kryštof Šámal, Czechia’s Head of Delegation, expressed his excitement about the incredible and diverse cast of finalists. With a total of 98,000 votes received, the past week witnessed different winners almost every two days, showcasing the intense competition. Šámal looks forward to working with Aiko, utilizing the substantial resources Eurovision provides for ample preparation time. He is confident that Czechia will be proud of the outcome.
