The Eurovision journey in Lithuania will kick off on January 13, featuring five heats leading up to the Grand Final on February 15. Each heat will see a blend of musical styles, with results determined by a dynamic combination of in-studio jury decisions (50%) and public voting (50%). Two top-scoring songs from each heat will secure a spot in the grand finale.
In a departure from previous years, the Grand Final will be broadcast live, infusing a sense of immediacy and anticipation. The top three songs, as chosen by both the jury and the public, will proceed to the superfinal, where the ultimate winner will be exclusively determined by public voting.
Audrius Giržadas, Head of Delegation for Lithuania, expressed his excitement about the diverse pool of participants, saying, “In the selection shows for Eurovision 2024 starting in January, we will hear songs of various genres – both lyrical and alternative music, which will be performed by well-known and experienced participants on the Eurovision stage, as well as by new artists.”

The list of participants is an eclectic mix of musical genres, with intriguing titles such as “Puppeteer,” “Serenade,” “Dragons and Rainbows,” and “Simple Joy.” Notable artists include Andrius Pojavis, who represented Lithuania in 2013, and The Roop, set to bring their unique style once again after their 2020 and 2021 Eurovision adventures.
The recent representative, Monika Linkytė, is succeeded by a fresh group of talents, each eager to captivate both the jury and the public with their unique sounds.
