TALI to Represent Luxemburg at Eurovision 2024

Luxembourg, after an absence of over three decades, has chosen its triumphant return to the Eurovision Song Contest, and TALI will lead the charge with the empowering song ‘Fighter.’ The Grand Duchy’s musical comeback was unveiled on Saturday, January 27, at the Rockhal concert hall in Esch-sur-Alzette.

The Luxembourg Song Contest featured eight songs vying for the honor of representing the nation in Malmö at the 68th Eurovision Song Contest. The voting process was a combination of public votes and the deliberations of eight international juries, each carrying a 50% weight in determining the winner.

In a nail-biting culmination, TALI emerged as the chosen one to carry Luxembourg’s flag in its return to Eurovision. The song ‘Fighter’ will serve as the anthem for this historic comeback, marking Luxembourg’s presence in the Eurovision Song Contest after a hiatus of 31 years.

TALI, a 23-year-old performer, vocal coach, and music teacher, brings a wealth of talent and experience to the Eurovision stage. Having recently toured New York with her music group, performing at prestigious venues like RockWood Music Hall, Mercury Lounge, Arlene’s Grocery, and The Delancey, TALI has established herself as a dynamic and versatile artist.

Influenced by notable artists such as Lizzy McAlpine, Sara Bareilles, and Lady Gaga, TALI has crafted a unique sound that blends genres. Her debut EP, ‘lose you,’ released in 2021 and co-written with artist Francis of Delirium, proving her songwriting prowess. Currently working on her debut album with a new band called Blue Stripes, TALI continues to push creative boundaries.

Beyond her musical achievements, TALI has made a mark in the film and theatre world. Starring in the short indie film ‘Agua’ and portraying roles like Tzeitel in ‘Fiddler on the Roof’ and Eponine in ‘Les Misérables,’ she exemplifies versatility in the arts.

As TALI prepares to grace the Eurovision stage, Luxembourg anticipates a stellar performance that combines musical prowess, creativity, and a dash of theatrical flair. ‘Fighter’ is set to echo Luxembourg’s re-entry into the Eurovision spotlight, and TALI is poised to make history. 🇱🇺
