Eurovision 2025: Reto Peritz and Moritz Stadler Announced as Executive Producers

The excitement for Eurovision 2025 in Switzerland continues to build as SRG SSR, the Swiss national broadcaster, unveils Reto Peritz and Moritz Stadler as the contest’s executive producers.

A Dream Team Takes the Helm:

Responding to the Eurovision Song Contest Task Force’s request, the SRG SSR Executive Board appointed Peritz and Stadler to co-lead the production of Eurovision 2025. Both will retain their current roles within SRG SSR but will gradually transition their existing projects by June 2025 to focus entirely on the upcoming Eurovision extravaganza.

Experience Beckons:

Reto Peritz, currently the Director of Entertainment at SRF (the German-language division of SRG SSR), brings a wealth of Eurovision expertise to the table. He served as the Head of Delegation for Switzerland from 2016 to 2021 and was also a member of the Eurovision Reference Group between 2019 and 2021.

Moritz Stadler, currently the Head of Operations at RTS (the French-language division of SRG SSR), complements this experience with his extensive background at the European Broadcasting Union (EBU).

More to Come:

The announcement of Peritz and Stadler marks a significant step in the organization of Eurovision 2025. Stay tuned for news on the remaining members of the core team, who will be revealed in the coming days.

Switzerland Takes Center Stage:

Following Nemo’s triumphant win with “The Code,” Switzerland prepares to host Eurovision for the third time, adding to its victories in 1956 and 1988. In the coming weeks, discussions with potential host cities across Switzerland will commence, raising the anticipation for the location reveal.

Get ready, Eurovision fans! With a seasoned team at the helm and the search for a host city underway, Eurovision 2025 in Switzerland promises to be a spectacular event.
