The Czech Republic’s Eurovision 2025 act has been revealed, and it’s none other than ADONXS! The rising star will take the stage in Basel, Switzerland, as he aims to continue the country’s recent streak of strong performances at the contest.
ADONXS (pronounced Adonis) is the stage name of Adam Pavlovčin, a Slovak-born singer-songwriter known for his soulful vocals, artistic visuals, and electro-pop sound. He first gained widespread attention after winning SuperStar 2021, the Czech-Slovak version of Idol, and has since built a reputation for his bold musical style and striking performances.
His Eurovision entry has yet to be revealed, but fans are eagerly anticipating whether he will bring a dark synth-pop anthem, a dramatic ballad, or something entirely unique to the stage.
Although the Czech Republic had a slow start in Eurovision, the country has steadily gained momentum, achieving its best-ever result in 2018 with Mikolas Josef’s “Lie to Me” (6th place). Recent entries like We Are Domi’s “Lights Off” (2022) and Vesna’s “My Sister’s Crown” (2023) have further established Czechia as a serious contender in the contest.
