Montenegro has officially announced its Eurovision 2025 representative, and it’s none other than Nina Žižić! The singer, who first appeared at Eurovision in 2013 as part of Who See’s entry “Igranka,” is making a grand comeback—this time as a solo artist.
Nina Žižić is a Montenegrin pop and electronic music artist known for her distinctive voice, powerful stage presence, and modern sound. She gained Eurovision recognition in 2013 when she performed alongside Montenegrin rap duo Who See on the futuristic dubstep track “Igranka.” While the song became a fan favorite, it unfortunately did not qualify for the final.
Now, 12 years later, Nina is getting a second chance at Eurovision—this time, as the sole representative of Montenegro.
Since its debut as an independent country in 2007, Montenegro has had a challenging Eurovision journey. The country has only qualified for the final twice—in 2014 with Sergej Ćetković’s “Moj Svijet” and in 2015 with Knez’s “Adio.”
Montenegro last competed in 2019 and took a break from the contest due to financial difficulties. Their return in 2025 marks a fresh start, and with Nina’s experience and star power, hopes are high for a strong comeback.
Montenegro’s Eurovision 2025 song has yet to be revealed, but fans are eager to see whether Nina will bring electronic beats, a dramatic ballad, or something entirely new. With her experience, charisma, and vocal talent, she has the potential to bring Montenegro back to the Eurovision final.
