Tommy Cash Wins Eesti Laul 2025, Heads to Eurovision

Estonia has chosen its representative for the 69th Eurovision Song Contest in Basel

Estonia has chosen its representative for the 69th Eurovision Song Contest in Basel, Switzerland: Tommy Cash. He emerged victorious from Eesti Laul 2025, the national selection competition.

Sixteen artists competed in the final held at the Unibet Arena in Tallinn. The show, hosted by Eda-Ines Etti and Korea, featured a performance by last year’s Estonian representatives, 5minust x Puuluup.

The winner was determined through a two-round voting process. In the first round, a combination of jury and public televotes narrowed the field. Each act received points based on their ranking in both votes, with the top three advancing to the superfinal.

The initial running order was:

  • Ant – Tomorrow Never Comes
  • Stereo Terror – Prty Till the End of the World
  • Janek – Frozen
  • Räpina Jack feat. Kaisa Ling – Tule (Come)
  • Johanna Elise – Eyes Don’t Lie
  • Felin – Solo Anthem
  • Elysa – The Last to Know
  • Gem98 – Psycho
  • An-Marlen – Külm (Cold)
  • Frants Tikerpuu – Trouble
  • Anna Sahlene – Love Me Low
  • Tuuli Rand – Rem
  • Minimal Wind – Armageddon
  • Andrei Zevakin feat. Karita – Ma ei tea sind (I don’t know you)
  • Tommy Cash – Espresso Macchiato
  • Marta Lotta – Tantsin veel (I’m still dancing)

The top three, An-Marlen, Andrei Zevakin feat. Karita, and Tommy Cash, then competed in the superfinal, where the winner was decided solely by public vote. The final results were:

  1. Tommy Cash – Espresso Macchiato (83% of the televote)
  2. Andrei Zevakin feat. Karita – Ma ei tea sind (I don’t know you)
  3. An-Marlen – Külm (Cold)

Tommy Cash, a well-known Estonian rapper with international success, will now represent his country in Basel. Eurovision fans may recognize him from his collaboration with 2023 runner-up Käärijä on the song “It’s Crazy, It’s Party”. He will perform “Espresso Macchiato” at Eurovision.

Estonia has been on a streak of qualifying for the final, having done so for the past three contests. Last year, they finished 20th in the Grand Final. This year, Estonia will compete in the first half of the first semi-final on May 13th.   Sources and related content
