Eurovision Song Contest 2024 Semi-Final Running Orders Revealed

Eurovision fans rejoice! The European Broadcasting Union has revealed the running orders for both semi-finals of the 2024 Eurovision Song Contest.

This year brings a historic change, with the pre-qualified “Big Five” countries (France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and the United Kingdom) and host nation Sweden performing exhibition shows during the semi-finals. Previously, only 1 minute pre-recorded clips were aired.

Here’s a breakdown of the semi-final lineups:

Semi-Final One (May 7th):

The allocation draw determined which semi-final each competing country participates in and their performance half. The show producers then finalized the performance order.

This exciting news comes after Sweden’s historic win at the 2023 contest with Loreen’s “Tattoo.” Her victory marked the first time a woman won Eurovision twice, following her 2012 win with “Euphoria.” Sweden now ties Ireland for the most Eurovision wins (seven). The competition will be held in Malmö, Sweden, for the third time in its history.
