Slimane to Represent France at Eurovision 2024 with the song “Mon Amour”

Born in Chelles, France, on October 13, 1989, to Algerian parents, Slimane gained recognition after winning the fifth season of The Voice: la plus belle voix in 2016. Since his victory, he has launched a debut album and nine singles, showcasing his musical talent.

Before his success on The Voice, Slimane actively shared his music online, presenting his own compositions like “Toi et moi,” “Je n’y suis pour rien,” “Salem,” and “Amour Impossible,” the last of which he performed as a duet with Princesse Sofia. Prior to The Voice, he participated in various music competitions and even secured a role in a French musical.

During his audition on The Voice, singing “À fleur de toi” by Vitaa, all four judges turned their chairs, demonstrating their interest in mentoring him. He chose to join Team Florent Pagny and ultimately won the competition with 33% of the public vote, surpassing his fellow finalist, MB14.

Slimane’s journey from online showcases to winning The Voice underscores his musical prowess and ascent in the French music industry.

Now he is going to represent his country at Eurovision Song Contest 2024 after La Zarra representing France last year.
He will perform the song “Mon Amour”, out tonight 8. November 2023.
